this is a tea blossom....i used these in a display for an industrial design presentation at uni and took some photos....this blossom formed from a tiny bud and once added to boiling water it expands like this...there are various types you can get i'd love to find the type which has a string of flowers coming out from the top...i bought these from the tea shop in the brisbane arcade
